Can Video Gaming make a Better World?

Can it? I had to think about this one for a little while. On one hand, i think that, no, it can’t because games can take people away from reality, a little too away. This can lead to people becoming anti-social and less caring for what happens to them in their real life outside the virtual universe. This has happened through many cases of WoW nerds and such. But on the other hand, i think that if a group of new media artists, game designers, and sociologists teamed up, a kick-ass game could be made that not only strengthens people and their bonds with each other, but can also teach us many experiences of how to live in the real world.
